Truly ingenious, French cigar knife "Le Phenix" invented and hand made by Coutellerie Couperier Coursolle from the Thiers area .This knife has three different gauged apertures for insertion of the cigar tip. By closing the guillotine blade, the cigar is neatly trimmed to prepare for smoking. Some gentlemen like to trim several times to produce the size of tip opening to their liking.. This is truly a magnificent design unlike any cigar knives on the market. Fitted with another blade for general cutting (such as cutting he foil on a wine bottle) and a "tire bouchon", cork screw. Very French indeed. Served in a "butter soft" leather pouch. Hand made and in limited supply. This would make a wonderful gift for the cigar aficionado.
