Traditional French Laguiole style folding knife in the "bottine style"( named after the shape of a lady's ankle boot). This one has the distinctive "Bee" and an ornate engraved back with an inlaid "shepherd's cross" in the handle. The handle is Genuine Horn and is highly polished by hand. The handle pairs nicely with the stainlessl blade and solid brass (laiton) bolsters.  Made by Le Thiers Guild member Family Chazeau Honore. The family Chazeau works together to make traditional French cutlery of the highest quality. Many from this family live above their workshop!. The Thiers area is home to France's oldest cutlery tradition with many small companies and individual craftsmen dedicated to continuing this 800 year old tradition.
