Description

Truly a one of a kind creation This is the "Le Bourbon Special" Laguiole Style French made single blade folding knife. 2 pc meaning with "tire bouchon" (cork screw) Hand engraved on back and with traditional French "Bee", of course. Beautiful handle is made from used Bourbon barrel staves that are sent to France from Kentucky. Inlaid "Shepherd's Cross" in side. Nice 12 cm size fits nicely in the pocket. Highest quality 12C27 high carbon stainless steel blade, These are elegant but very substantial. Hand finished in Thiers France area. Perfect in your desk drawer, glove box, liquor cabinet or wine cellar. There is a close connection between France and the spirit Bourbon. Bourbon is named after the county in Kentucky, Bourbon County or Bourbon Street in New Orleans where so much of this Kentucky spirit was sold. Both take their name from the French Bourbon family from the Auvergne region of France where these knives are made. (an informative brochure on this "French Connection" ships with each "Le Bourbon Special knife.)
These are truly unique and not available anywhere else in the world, we believe.
These are hand crafted by our good friend, Master Cutler Francois Vachon. (he also enjoys a nice Kentucky Bourbon!)
