From the mind of Frenchman Bruno Sauzedde , the innovative Thiers area Cutler,comes the amazing Roto-Sphere "Le Thiers". A spherical steel ball tip on the pivot end of the blade locks into a socket in the back of the genuine stabilized Camel Bone handle making an interesting, unique and very functional lock for the blade. (when in use it is easy and natural to keep your thumb on the sphere to keep the blade open) To close it you just fold the blade closed without pinching pressure on the sides of the handle and the ball pops out of the socket. Bruno makes several variations on the Roto-Sphere design. This one is the "Le Thiers", modern, sleek design and the handle is exotic stabilized Camel Bone. This is a very beautiful looking knife and heirloom quality. Bruno is a Master in the Le Thiers Guild of French knife makers that insures quality and integrity of materials. . He comes form a long line of cutlers. (in the photo he is on the right and his father, Mr. Jean Sauzedde, in the blue cutler's smock is on the left.
