From the center of France comes L'Autan Prestige This one is made with a Genuine Rosewood handle. inlaid into the handle is the famous and beautiful "Cross of Occitaine" . This distinctive cross first was use by the duke in the Provence area of France in the 12th century and signifies virtue and dignity. Expertly made by the La Coutellerie Au Sabot company in the Auvergne region of France who's family has been making fine cutlery since 1870. Mr. Jean Sauzedde is the patriarch of the family and still working at over 80! His daughter, Frederique is the commercial manager. (see photo)
