Embossed brass (laiton) folding blade with carbon steel blade. This special knife is called the Venus and has a lovely, tasteful lady Venus embossed on both sides of the solid brass..
This special style is reminiscent of gentlemen's knives from the turn of the 20th century from the Thiers, France area and is still made by hand in the same way.
Made by Guild member Jean-Marc Couperier of Couperier and Corsolle of the beautiful Auvergne region of France.
This fine knife belongs in the discriminating gentleman's collection, pocket or shooting bag.
