This special Laguiole style knife has an engraved, lock back in addition to the famous "Napoleonic bee"., of course. This one is called "Le Rouergue" and is presented with an Exotic African Ebony wood handle. This wood is very hard and durable and will make this a long lasting, robust knife. Thick stainless steel blade and polished handle with finger groove to fit perfectly in the hand. The blade locks open positively for any task at hand. Expertly made by the La Coutellerie Au Sabot company in the Auvergne region of France who's family has been making fine cutlery since 1870.
